Make Money With SEO

If you are good with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) then you can make good money by working with other peoples' sites.

If you're not sure what SEO is it is optimizing a site to rated as high as possible in a particular search engine like google, yahoo, or bing.  What I mean being as high as possible is that that site would show up in the search results before other websites.  The higher a site shows up, the more free traffic (visitors) they will get to their website. 

To get a good ranking in the search engines a site would need to be as relevant as possible for a particular search term.  For instance when somebody searches for "ginger bread house" on google, the top website is "SEO'd" for the term "ginger bread house".

To make money from doing SEO you do a number of things.

1. Have a website for your service.  Simply build out a website that details your services.  Have some sort of payment service on your site and have people send you money for doing SEO services for them.
2. Offer your services on a site like elance.com that helps you get into contact with potential customers.  Just list your services provided, prices you'll do them for, and either wait for customers or go out and bid on jobs.
3. Become a member of a web based forum and offer your services on the forum.  Most internet forums have separate sections for people to list available services.  You can just start a new thread that outlines what you can do for people and have them contact you via a private message to exchange payment info.

You can do this part time to make a little extra money on the side, or you can take on a number of clients full time and earn a lot of money.  Companies and small businesses will pay good money to be listed high on the first page of a search engine for certain keywords.
